For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager (Code and Secrets), remotely from USA.

As the Senior Engineering Manager for the Code and Secrets engineering teams, you will lead and grow a talented group of engineers working across security, program analysis, and full-stack development. You will focus on improving and securing code products while balancing the evolving needs of both customers and internal teams. Your leadership will be key in fostering a culture of innovation and building high-performing teams that can drive both short-term and long-term product goals. Through close collaboration with stakeholders and your team, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction and success of these critical products in the application-security space.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and empower multiple engineering teams working on code security products, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with product goals.
  • Create and manage a roadmap that balances iterative improvements with long-term strategic initiatives for product development.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular feedback to engineers, helping them grow professionally and strengthening team dynamics.
  • Foster a culture of trust and creativity, encouraging risk-taking and personal responsibility within the team.
  • Oversee the hiring process to build a diverse, high-performing team and ensure continuous talent development.

  • A minimum of 4 years leading software engineering teams, with experience managing multiple teams or sub-teams.
  • Strong product development foundation, including design best practices, iterative milestones, and using customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with agile development principles and iterative project delivery.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide engineers, helping them develop leadership skills.
  • Willingness to work hours that overlap with both US West Coast (PST) and Western Europe (EU) at least 2 hours each day for 4 days a week.
