Role Overview

As an Enterprise Implementation Specialist, you will lead enterprise-level implementations of Kahuna’s Skills Management platform, ensuring seamless deployment, customer adoption, and long-term success. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and project management capabilities to effectively guide customers through implementation, data migration, and change management.

You will work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure customers maximize the value of Kahuna’s platform, from onboarding to long-term adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Onboarding & Implementation – Lead end-to-end deployment of Kahuna, ensuring smooth customer onboarding, configuration, and alignment with business goals.
  • Solution Configuration & Integration – Work closely with customers to tailor Kahuna’s platform to their workflows, integrating with enterprise systems (HRIS, LMS, ERP, etc.).
  • Data Migration & Validation – Manage data import/export, ensuring accuracy, security, and seamless system integration (ETL processes).
  • Process Optimization & Change Management – Guide customers through operational transformation, including best practices for adoption and training.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution – Diagnose and resolve technical challenges, collaborating with internal teams to address system performance issues.
  • Customer Advocacy & Feedback – Gather insights to inform product improvements and advocate for customer needs within Kahuna.
  • Value Realization & Optimization – Track key customer success metrics and ensure that Kahuna delivers measurable business impact.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Product Teams – Support Sales in pre-sales discovery sessions and contribute feedback to Product for roadmap development.
  • 3+ years experience in SaaS implementation, customer success, or enterprise consulting.
  • Project management expertise – Strong project management skills, including experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with HR Tech & Workforce Solutions – Prior work in HRIS, talent management, workforce planning, or learning & development systems is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with data integration methods (API, SFTP) and technical acumen to support integration efforts.
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills – Ability to adapt and find creative solutions for customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and present to diverse stakeholder groups, including executive leadership.
  • Process Documentation & Best Practices – Ability to create playbooks and process documentation for scalable implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with enterprise customers in Energy, Healthcare, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (SAP, Workday, Infor) and LMS (Docebo, Cornerstone, Relias) integrations.
  • Certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) or Technical Writing are a plus.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, Six Sigma) are a plus.
