Internship Team Project Leader

The Internship Project Leader is primarily responsible for ensuring the success of team initiatives and that objectives are being met as directed by the Director of Interships. This role will monitor the team budget, maintain partnerships and collaborative relationships with other Life.Church teams, and provide excellent care and guidance for projects and other events carried out by the Internship team. This role supports the team’s direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.


What You’ll Do
  • Support the team’s daily operations
  • Serve as Project Leader on assigned team projects by determining objectives, assigning responsibilities, and setting achievable timelines with direction of the Director of Internships.
  • Manage and update team calendars, Internship email inbox, organization boards, staff portal, and communication with other Life.Church team members.
  • Inventory, order, and assemble necessary orientation supplies, alumni boxes, and team celebration gifts.
  • Plan and execute internship events including Orientation, Central Presentations, send out boxes, and development times alongside the Internship Team.
  • Develop and maintain communication with Interns, Coaches, and Central Ministry/Central Team Leaders.
  • Update and maintain intern off-boarding forms and requests.
  • Manage intern midpoint reviews and communications with appropriate team members.
  • Organize and facilitate Intern’s development calls and monthly resource emails.
  • Organize and facilitate Coach’s development resources.
  • Partner with Operations Manager to Empower and Resource Internship Interviewers.
  • Supporting Internship Team communication through multiple mediums including.
  • Support Internship External Communications.
  • Support the Operations Manager in Recruiting Initiatives including marketing emails, alumni newsletter and recruitment emails.
  • Support Director of Internships with external organizational partnership.
  • Build and retain relationships with intern host families.
  • Partner with Social Media Contractor for important dates and social media campaigns.

  • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of related work experience.
