This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Head to join a long-established company with a mission to empower the Filipino people through value-added healthcare management options and to become the country’s top full-service, fully automated partner in providing quality patient care.

Company Profile:

Founded in 2009, our client is a multi-specialty, full-service clinic. They aim to serve patients with every clinical service they need, in-clinic and off-site. From primary care to online consultation, they are continuously growing their business to bring their customer/client just what they need to take care of their health.

 

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

A Business Development Head is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the growth and expansion of a company's business. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and leading efforts to increase revenue streams.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy, aligning it with overall organizational goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and industry shifts to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create long-term strategies for increasing market share, targeting new customer segments, and entering new markets.

 

2. Partnership & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product development) to create and implement strategies for expanding business.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals, contracts, and partnerships.

 

3. Market Expansion:

  • Lead initiatives to expand into new geographic regions, sectors, or product/service lines.
  • Identify new channels or markets for the company's products and services.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and adjust business development strategies accordingly.

 

4. Revenue Growth:

  • Develop plans to drive revenue through new client acquisition, retention, and upselling opportunities.
  • Lead the identification of key target clients and help close deals to meet financial targets.

 

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and manage a team of business development professionals.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align business development efforts.

 

6. Reporting & Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze business development metrics, such as lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue.
  • Report progress and performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Use data to refine strategies and improve performance.

 

7. Customer Insights:

  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs, ensuring products and services are meeting expectations.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or similar advanced degree (preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, preferably in the healthcare industry (corporate healthcare, medical services, clinics, hospitals, or etc.).
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess market trends, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficient in contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships; Proven track record in new business acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills – proficiency in creating sales reports, forecasts, and strategic plans.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
