Marmon Utility LLC is on the lookout for a dedicated Plant Engineer to join our team in Seymour, CT. As part of the globally recognized Marmon Holdings, which is proudly backed by Berkshire Hathaway, you'll have the chance to make a real impact in the industrial sector. In this role, you'll report directly to the Director of Operations and be the go-to person for capital planning, capital budgets, and acting as the project manager on significant capital projects. You'll be supervising the Maintenance Supervisor and ensuring that all plant facilities are operating at peak efficiency. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing large capital projects, evaluating new equipment for efficiency and safety, and mentoring your team to foster their professional growth. By collaborating closely with various departments, you'll help us streamline processes and improve overall plant productivity. This role demands extensive knowledge of manufacturing equipment and building systems, as well as strong project management skills.
