Job Summary


MathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations. Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for implementing user-centered design in MathWorks software products for small, self-contained projects; designing user experiences based on detailed requirements that meet user needs and product vision; understanding MathWorks’ product directions and developing design solutions; proposing design ideas based on usability testing, standard UX methodologies and technical input and insights from research on Simulink workflows and user preferences and behavior; assisting in design processes, from early ideas and sketches, to wireframes and prototypes, and into active development and go-live; contributing to requirements and design documents; and collaborating on low, medium and high-fidelity prototypes.
