ReSet Assistant

As a ReSet Assistant at Memphis-Shelby County Schools, your primary responsibilities include monitoring the ReSET Room under the supervision of the Principal and SEED Department. You will be implementing trauma-informed care practices and interventions aligned with the CASEL standards to support both Special Education Resource and General Education students. Your role is crucial in fostering a safe and productive environment where students can thrive.

To qualify for the ReSet Assistant position at Memphis-Shelby County Schools, candidates must have graduated from an accredited college or university with at least an Associate's degree, or have completed a minimum of 48 semester hours of college coursework. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of experience working with children in an educational setting and must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
