.We are hiring for a Warehouse Technician - Fork Lift to join our growing team!

The role is responsible for receiving incoming items, logging these items as well as stocking or placing them in a predetermined area. This position also retrieves and ships items to stores, vendors or off site facilities.

Job Description

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

  • Receives all inventory items into inventory system, Microsoft Dynamics (AX).
  • Documents and enters all equipment received or shipped into our shipping/receiving log.
  • Handles the New Store Opening (NSO) lane management in preparation for shipping to new stores openings.
  • Maintains the New Store Openings book of purchase orders and packing slips. Pulls all packing slip items for NSO and reports any discrepancies.
  • Maintains the Merchandising Departments Contact Lens Trials inventory for NSO. Including weekly physical inventory, as well as distributing the weekly reporting.
  • Maintains and organizes the equipment in the warehouse.
  • Stocks inventory parts and supplies in the shop, ensuring labels and placement is correct.
  • Assist the In-House Repair Techs with organizing the NSO equipment shipments.
  • Assist the In-House Repair Techs with prepping the equipment for refurbishment.
  • Monitors and reports inventory levels.
  • Operates Fork Lift and pallet jacks, unloads and loads freight trucks.
  • Assists with all Physical inventory counts. Preps and counts.
  • Ensures warehouse and shop area are organized and clean at all times.

Qualifications

    • Forklift experience (preferred) 
    • Warehouse and inventory control experience required.
    • Experience with hand trucks and fork lifts.
    • Computer skills: Professional Emails, Data Entry into spreadsheets and finance system.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift heavy boxes (20-40 lbs.).
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time 6 – 8 hours at a time.
