We do this through planning, executing, and analyzing integrated (direct mail, email, online) marketing campaigns focused on acquiring, retaining, upgrading, and reactivating members. About the role

As an Account Executive, you will serve as the primary liaison between the agency and its clients, ensuring clear communication, strategic alignment, and outstanding service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams internally, including creative, strategy, production, project management, and data analytics, as well as externally with clients’ membership, marketing, and design teams. Your role will be to oversee client communications, guide them through key processes, and implement tools and solutions to improve efficiency in client engagement as well as discussing potential new business opportunities with existing clients.

What you will be doing

Client Relationship Management:

  • Onboard new clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact.
  • Understand client needs, goals, and objectives, and proactively address concerns or issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Communicate with clients regarding campaign progress, strategy recommendations, and operational updates.
  • Ensure timely client feedback on creative assets, project deliverables, and approvals.
  • Coach internal teams and clients on project decisions, while being aware of technical or production limitations.
  • Lead kickoff calls, including agenda preparation, meeting setup, and client communications.
  • Ensure clients are aware of additional services and benefits we provide.

Process Improvement & Documentation:

  • Assess the efficiency of current client communication processes and suggest improvements.
  • Document and optimize client-facing processes to ensure clear expectations and smoother workflows.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for client management processes.
  • Update and maintain SOPs to reflect best practices and evolving client needs.

What we expect you have done before

  • 5+ years of experience in client relationship management, account management, or a similar role in an agency or cultural organization.
  • Experience in similar role in non-profit & fundraising space.
  • 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles with high intensity and high demand.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Fluent or native-level proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working with marketing channels such as direct mail, email, and digital marketing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Basecamp or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Willingness and ability to work PST timezone hours (prior experience in this timezone is a plus).
