This position will assist in ensuring world class hiring manager and candidate experience. This position will also coordinate candidate interviews at high velocity, work with recruiters on interviews/next steps, manage/optimize workflows and processes, ensure operational best practices, provide mentorship/training to other team members, and represent the OpenGov talent brand on a daily basis. The Senior Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with the Talent team, supporting multiple recruiters to create an amazing, engaging, and meaningful experience for all candidates and hiring managers. We want this role to bring creative ideas to streamline processes to match the velocity and quality we expect.
Responsibilities:
Work with the recruitment team to support and take ownership of the “candidate experience”
Schedule interviews with a sense of urgency (Phone, Video, Onsites).
Be the main point of contact for all interviews (includes keeping interviewers on time, find interviewers if late, troubleshoot any candidate issues)
Communicate with hiring managers and candidates over the phone, email, text, and in person.
Develop strong relationships with candidates, recruiters and hiring managers
Be the “Face of OpenGov” and a true ambassador of our brand
Update candidate records and job postings in our ATS
Own operational best practices and data hygiene to maintain accurate candidate records and job postings in our ATS
Build and create best practices related to Talent Acquisition Coordination, provide consultation to Recruiters/Hiring managers on the best practices, and assist in training related to overall Talent Acquisition.
Provide mentorship/guidance to other team members
Build critical reports and analyze data related to activity, trends, and areas of focus to provide consultation on.
Juggle several priorities at once, multi-tasking and finding solutions to scheduling conflicts
Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
Assist with other projects when needed for OpenGov
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator (or related experience), preferably in a SaaS startup environment (SaaS/Startup experience will be prioritized)
Bonus points and priority for Ashby experience
Demonstrate success of staying organized and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment (we use Gsuite)
Partner with recruiters to source, screen, and engage top talent through job boards, social media, and networking.
Support initiatives to enhance employer reputation by managing Glassdoor reviews and strengthening brand presence.
Collaborate with marketing to create compelling job posts, social media content, and campaigns to attract top candidates.
Passion for the providing exceptional “candidate experience” and finding new ways to enhance and better the experience
Experience handling scheduling conflicts professionally with a solution and results oriented approach.
Confidence to be able to jump on the phone to have conversations with candidates and hiring managers
Experience with an ATS, Google Suite (Google Calendar, Gmail, and Drive), and video interviewing tools (Zoom preferred).
Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and written/verbal communication
Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
