Field Sales Team Lead - San Francisco

About Us 

Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant and event space revenue, but many venues are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains. Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants and venues an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local them compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes other event services (DJs, florists, etc).

About The Role:

We're obviously biased - but this is a phenomenal opportunity for an ambitious sales leader. You’ll be early enough to have a significant impact, but not so early that we don’t already have strong PMF and a repeatable sales process (hundreds of paying customers, #1 G2, etc).

We have customers nationwide paying hundreds of dollars per month and are backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, including the 1st investor in Zoom. We have a very high close rate as our product is the #1 rated venue management tool on G2. Since our product is essentially a CRM for restaurants, it will feel familiar to you which makes it easy to learn and sell with conviction.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Attract and hire a world-class sales team

  • Lead a team of sales reps to hit and exceed goals

  • Co-sell larger deals

  • Build a strong in-office sales culture

  • Collaborate with growth, product, and customer success leaders to drive results

  • Be flexible! At the end of the day, we're a startup - so things are always changing

What We Need: 

  • 2+ years of startup sales leadership

  • 4+ years of SaaS sales closing experience, preferably in the field

  • Strong outbound experience

  • Experience with a high-velocity, mid-range ACV products

  • Excited to build an in-office sales culture

  • Set high standards and are never satisfied with anything - ever

  • You've sold hospitality / restaurant tech or worked in hospitality in the past
