Product Marketer - Industry 4.0 (Global)

At Portainer, we’re making container management at the edge radically simple — and now we’re looking for a Product Marketing powerhouse to tell that story to the world of Industry 4.0.

You’ll be our technical content champion — someone who can speak the language of industrial engineers and cut through the noise with clear, compelling narratives that spark curiosity and drive adoption.

This is not a fluffy marketing role. It’s content-heavy, community-facing, and credibility-critical. You’ll be writing, creating, coordinating, and communicating directly with the people pushing the limits of edge tech and industrial systems.


What you’ll do:

  • Create kickass technical content (blogs, whitepapers, explainers, videos — you name it)
  • Translate product features into compelling stories that make industrial engineers go “ohhh yep, I need that”
  • Boost partner-led lead generation by creating technical content with our partners and customers
  • Prepare and execute technical webinars with our partners, users, and the Portainer community
  • Be active in places that matter — like the Industry 4.0 Discord and other community spaces
  • Work hand-in-hand with Product, Sales, and Engineering to make sure everything you produce hits home

  • Writes like a pro — clear, sharp, technical, and engaging
  • Knows their way around containerization, Docker, Kubernetes (and ideally Portainer!)
  • Understands the nuances of IIoT, edge, and Industry 4.0 environments
  • Has a proven track record creating content that connects with technical audiences
  • Loves turning complexity into clarity — and tech into traction
