About the role
As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you will be expediting the final stages of customer loan applications. This includes the detailed verification of loan documents, clearing of final stipulations before funding, and discussions of loan offers with customers to place them in the right products. You will work directly with the Customer Onboarding Management team to provide process improvements and feedback while demonstrating the ability to thrive in our fast-paced growing department.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct timely and accurate review of loan stipulations to ensure funding time meets or exceeds expectations and service level standards.
Recognize and effectively communicate consumer loan products with customers to help them make informed decisions regarding their loan options.
Engage with our customers using proper phone etiquette as a front-line team member. Making a positive lasting first impression of Reprise Financial.
Develop an in depth understanding of the Reprise Financial verification process.
Identify opportunities to increase verification process efficiencies.
Verification responsibilities may include validating identity, address, and social security number; employment, auto insurance, vehicle value, lien and title verification; analyzing proof of income; reviewing loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
Identify, investigate and/or escalate potential fraud risks.
Provide exceptional service through daily interactions with both internal and external customers. This may include written and verbal communication with other Analyst, Outbound Sales, Underwriting and Management.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Reprise Financial policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Two or more years of funding, loan verification or underwriting experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Service orientation
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team settings
Ability to problem solve and identify opportunities for customer success
Location
This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere that suits you best! While you’ll primarily work from home, you are always welcome to visit our office in Irving, TX, whenever you choose. We encourage our remote team members to stay connected through regular virtual meetings and team events. All team members must reside in one of our approved locations by their start date, ensuring you remain part of our collaborative community.
Compensation
For this role our salary range is $20-$24, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
