This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.Position Summary:This position will be responsible for the development and execution of logistics/supply chain initiatives to meet company freight service and financial targets. The position requires a knowledge of transportation management, network strategy and technical requirements commonly used in the industry.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:• Will lead the business development, process improvement and optimization of the Managed Freight Program• Develop and maintain reporting roadmap using Power BI and Snowflake tools by gathering requirements from key stakeholders• Liaison between the corporate finance, purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams• Identifies and executes on process, productivity and systems opportunities within the inbound logistics ecosystem but not constrained to other departments• Develops strategic roadmaps to meet company financial targets for freight revenue• Identify new opportunities, analyze the requirements and economics to convert, work with stakeholders to implement• Communicates with all departments within the company, transportation providers and business partners on supply chain changes or new program developments• Communicates freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services• Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics• Understanding of macro market trends and regulations in transportation. Develop strategies that mitigate or take advantages of future outlooks• Lead or participate in project teams as required• Develop and manage relevant KPI’s to support and measure the business• Daily interaction with internal, carrier and customer personnel is required• Other projects or duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:• Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain logistics or operations and 6+ years of supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or related experience• 3+ years of leadership experience• Must have excellent organizational skills, demonstrate a keen attention to detail, be able to communicate across cross-functional teams• Must be proficient in Microsoft (Power BI, Word, Excel and Access)• Must be willing to travel up 40% of time• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:• Master’s Degree• Prior experience working in a fast-paced foodservice /beverage and/or logistics environment• Project experience• Experience with EDI and API• Systems Experience: working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and visibility software platforms, such as E2 TMS and Four Kites• Proficiencies with PowerBI, Snowflake or other business intelligence systemsPhysical Demands and Work Environment :Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
