What You'll Contribute As a Digital Marketing Associate in the Portfolio Growth Marketing team, you are responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of SEO initiatives that drive traffic growth, lead generation and customer acquisition. In this role, you will support various key components across multiple SEO initiatives, from assisting with keyword research and creating content outlines to identifying technical SEO issues and aiding in link building. You will act as the day-to-day contact with our creative and digital partners, manage project timelines, coordinate stakeholder feedback and report on SEO performance. You must be a motivated self-starter with a firm understanding of SEO principals, the ability to manage multiple priorities, possess a high attention to detail, and bring a passion for creating and delivering user-centric, search-friendly experiences aimed at driving organic growth. What You'll Do 1. SEO Planning • Assist in conducting keyword research to discover relevant topics and keywords that align with critical stages in the user’s journey • Generate SEO content outlines to help key stakeholders create and develop high-performing, optimized content • Help identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, broken links, and core web vital improvements • Support the team in link-building efforts by identifying opportunities and assisting in outreach activities 2. SEO Project Management • Own the implementation and delivery of technical and editorial SEO initiatives, managing project timelines, creative and dev requests, and execution details to keep projects on schedule • Review and approve all SEO-driven experiences pre and post-deployment to ensure changes are delivered accurately and on time • First-line of defense for accuracy of marketing campaigns and collateral • Maintain all required and relevant documentation for marketing campaigns 3. SEO Performance Analysis & Reporting • Compile weekly and monthly reports, synthesizing data to assess performance across a range of KPIs • Coordinate tagging and analytics requirements with the Mar-Tech and Analytics teams to properly measure and report on KPIs • Monitor and document competitive efforts across key business and search competitors What you have Minimum education, skills and experience required. Experience : • 1-2 years of SEO experience • Firm understanding of SEO principles and techniques • Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing on-page, off-page and technical SEO tactics • Proven track record of leveraging data and analytics to influence decisions and drive growth • Familiarity with SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, AHREFs, Alps.ai, and ScreamingFrog Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities : • Excellent organization and project management skills • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and work successfully in an ambiguous environment • Critical thinker with the ability to introduce process improvements • Highly collaborative and has an affinity for building relationships • Strong problem-solving skills • Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills with individuals at all levels of an organization • Proficient user of all Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word • Financial services experience preferred • Firm understanding of PPC and its relationship with SEO preferred • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript for technical SEO preferred Preferred education, skills, and experience. • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or related field.
