3D Character Artist

We are looking for a talented 3D Artist to join our team and contribute to a popular game project by creating and refining characters and props. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong collaboration with the Lead Artist, and the ability to optimize assets while maintaining artistic integrity. If you have a keen eye for detail, a team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn and improve – we’d love to receive your application!

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and create game assets (characters, props) matching project and studio standards. Reworking and improving existing assets
  • Work with Lead Artist to ensure timely completion of game assets
  • Communicate regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks
  • Obtain Lead Artist guidance and approval as required to advance tasks
  • Continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools
  • Contribute to the team-oriented environment
  • Experience in modeling, sculpting and texturing characters or props using 3ds Max/Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, Substance painter
  • Understanding of form, shape, structure and silhouette in regard to modeling
  • Experience with managing polygon count and texture budgets
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback
  • Self-motivation and a great team-player attitude

  • Be familiar with Game Engine Technologies such as Unreal Engine
