About the Role:
Join Taara as a Senior Finance Analyst and be a pivotal force in shaping our financial future. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you'll be instrumental in building a world-class FP&A function, laying the groundwork for scalable operations amidst our hyper-growth trajectory. This is a dynamic role where you'll champion data integrity, empower cross-functional teams with actionable insights, and seamlessly transition between tactical execution and strategic vision. From refining early-stage metrics to architecting robust data infrastructures, and from deep-diving into financial health to exploring emerging market opportunities, you'll be at the forefront of driving Taara's success.
This role is onsite in Sunnyvale, California.
How you will make 10X impact:
5+ years of experience in a similar role or in Management Consulting, Strategy, Operations or Program Management.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Apply data wizardry and expertise in Excel / Google Sheets, SQL and data visualization tools to build and iterate financial models and scenario analysis.
Drive budget reporting instilling awareness, responsibility and ownership across teams.
Deliver accurate internal and investor Financial reporting and KPI’s.
Set foundations for data integrity and uniformity across Taara, then architect and build infrastructure to meet the business needs today and for a rapidly scaling future.
Build the framework and tools to drive informed strategic planning and funding decisions.
Bring creative solutions to build and iterate Finance operations as Taara’s solves for a year of “firsts” in AP/AR, Supply Chain, Talent scaling, Treasury and Compliance.
What you should have:
Proven ability to influence without authority and work independently with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to creatively solve complex problems
Self-starter with a team-oriented work style and ability to inspire trust by demonstrating sound judgment and integrity.
Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of an organization, including executive audiences
Ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity
It would be great if you also had these:
Experience with hardware development and/or telecommunications industry
Experience in a VC backed start up and / or rapidly scaling business
Understanding of GAAP accounting
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $190,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
