We're in search of a Director, Product who is driven by a desire to optimize, innovate, and transform business technology across our organization. This director-level IC role is for a seasoned product manager who is comfortable owning and leading the organization's most important IT deliveries from a product perspective. The right person excels seeing the big picture and is comfortable taking charge in programs that require coordination across multiple distributed scrum teams. They will partner with our IT engineering teams to execute on a complex vision in close partnership with stakeholders across the business. 

 

About this roll (Responsibilities)

 

  • Service as product DRI for our most valuable and important IT initiatives from discovery to delivery
  • Partner in the development and implementation of the timeline for your initiatives. 
  • Organize and mentor more junior product management due to the work crossing multiple scrum teams
  • Drive partnership between with stakeholders in GTM, CS, R&D and Finance in prioritization and cross-functional delivery approach -- understand their needs and pain points thoroughly
  • Create proper documentation for current and future state system flows, business requirements and decisions, and solution design in partnership with business SMEs and IT Engineers.
  • Responsible for product execution, including measurement and documentation of business results achieved through solution implementation
  • Proficient in how applications share data and communicate, knowledgeable of Data Management practices and Reporting Strategies
  • Develop and facilitate timely decision-making across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams.
  • Intimate knowledge of business policies, processes, and programs with discernment of the different personas for each
  • Knowledgeable on business best practices and available tools to scale business processes and support Toast company strategic initiatives
  • Identify areas of improvement to improve system performance and internal EAT processes
  • Fostering team excellence by developing the team into high performing individuals and cultivating a culture of accountability, communication, and collaboration.



Do you have the right ingredients? (Requirements)

Bachelors’ degree in business or computer science discipline10+ years of professional Product Management experience, or focus in system implementation and/or finance transformationMastery of systems analysis, including root cause analysis and other process modeling and systems design methodologiesExperience with implementation and enhancements on NetSuite, Zuora, and Salesforce systems.Effective influence and negotiation skills; ability to form and build relationships with key stakeholders in various departmentsFamiliar with Finance and Accounting operations 

  • Proficient in SQL tools and cloud product management tools (Jira, Confluence, LucidCharts, Miro)

Ability to act as project manager with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentAble to think independently and consider cross-functional, upstream, and downstream impacts

 

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
