Curriculum Support Specialist

Position Purpose:

The Curriculum Support Specialist manages online test proctoring systems; prepares testing materials; communicates assessment information to students; ensures integrity of testing environment and materials; proctors testing, when necessary, coordinates and communicates assessment information to faculty and leadership, and oversees administration of ATI or similar training models. They are also responsible for assisting all programs in the development, evaluation, and revision of curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters Degree required or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated teaching and/or hospital-based simulation experience; Doctorate degree preferred
  • License / Certification: Appropriate, active, State of Ohio licensure as required by program of instruction
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years teaching experience, higher education background preferred.
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, implementation, debriefing and evaluation
  • Specific knowledge of simulation technology, equipment, and education
