In this role, you'll dive into day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, from data entry to maintaining precise financial records. If you’re passionate about managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments will be second nature to you. You’ll conduct reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards using Xero, the accounting software we love. Your knack for handling supplier correspondence will ensure all inquiries are addressed and invoices are followed up on promptly. As month-end approaches, you’ll assist with closing activities, preparing reports, and supporting our finance team to ensure everything runs smoothly. Additionally, you’ll lend a hand in order administration and general support within the finance department. To thrive in this role, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus, along with proven bookkeeping experience, ideally in the telecommunications or IP industry. Being proficient in Xero and having a solid grasp of Australian accounting principles is key. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will shine, helping you manage multiple tasks effortlessly.
