Human Resources Business Partner

Ultimate Care NY is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to people leaders, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive and consistent experience for our employees. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company by implementing best practices and driving HR processes.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, based on relevant experience.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. Hybrid schedule with 4 days in-office at our Brooklyn HQ.

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage conflict resolution, investigations, and employee complaints
  • Oversee onboarding, terminations, offboarding, and leave of absence management
  • Support return-to-work plans and facilitate interactive conversations

Corrective Action & Performance Management

  • Partner with leaders to address performance, behavior, and attendance issues
  • Coach leaders on feedback, performance evaluations, and employee development
  • Track and document performance actions, ensuring consistency in corrective measures

Organizational Design & Compensation

  • Support leaders in team structure, headcount decisions, and job description creation
  • Advise on compensation decisions and promotions
  • Manage the Annual Performance Review process, ensuring consistency and timely completion

Change Management

  • Collaborate on change strategies, policy updates, and new processes
  • Assist in implementing organizational changes and ensure smooth transitions
  • Communicate and manage feedback to align employees with organizational changes
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or professional HR certifications preferred
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist/HRBP experience; home care experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex HR/legal concepts
  • Experience driving HR change, managing conflict, and coaching both managers and employees
  • Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate across teams to meet deadlines
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with data and various HR platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
