Senior Product Manager - Cash & Security Management (f/m/d)

Upvest is one of the few fintechs in Europe that can provide its B2B clients with the full range of investment opportunities in the areas of principal broking business, proprietary trading, and safe custody business for traditional securities. Upvest’s clients include some of the biggest Fintechs in Europe such as Revolut, N26 and Raisin. The company was founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing and currently employs more than 180 people across Europe. Its latest €100m fundraising round (Series C) was led by Hedosophia and Sapphire Venture, with continued support from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Motive Ventures, and Notion Capital.

We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. Our mission and vision is to make investing as easy as spending money.

As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager . You will work directly with Aleksandr Tsirkunov,  Mislav Ilich, Christian Wöhlke owning topics critical to Upvest’s product and business success:

Enable millions of Europeans to invest  

You will own and develop a crucial part of the investing pipeline—ensuring investors can deposit funds and withdraw funds effortlessly. Your work will directly shape a seamless, instant, and worry-free cash management experience, giving investors the confidence to trust our platform with their financial future.

Modernise existing investment infrastructure

You will revolutionize one of the investment industry's more established processes—Security Transfers. Your challenge is to transform a traditionally slow and confusing experience into a seamless, intuitive process similar to what users experience with cash transfers. Enable tTransfers acrossalso should be enabled across many different jurisdictions and account types (e.g. French PEA, UK ISA/SIPPs etc…) 

Facilitate Upvest’s Expansion

You will own and shape key infrastructure that powers Upvest’s expansion into new regions. From setting up seamless end-user payments to integrating new venues to offer different instruments and driving banking and custody partnerships, your work will be at the heart of making global investment services a reality

Role requirements 

• You have 3-6 years experience working in Product Management roles - ideally with focus on payments or securities transfers. Experience in financial services/investing, B2B SaaS or FinTech is a big plus. 

• Understanding of and a focus on B2B client needs and how to delight them. You have a clear bias for impact and speed in product discovery and delivery.

• Be a sponge! We don’t need you to be a finance or securities industry expert. But you will need to be able to absorb knowledge on complicated topics quickly (e.g. cash and securities reconciliation, SWIFT and its related complexities) and combine with your expertise on product management best practices.

• Experience with product manager’s toolkits - such as product discovery, ticketing and documentation software (e.g., Linear, Slite, Miro, Figma etc.)

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

• Bonus points if you have worked with Security Transfers

We’re based in Berlin but also hiring remotely for this role. If you do want to move to Berlin though, we’re happy to support your relocation.
