Job Description

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Analyst, Product Management (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to

  • Responsible for building data products and solutions that deliver substantial value to Visa teams and its clients.
  • Work closely with business teams, engineers, architects, and global cross-functional counterparts to build and iterate data products.
  • Provide data exploration and analyses of large data to enable data driven stories and product features.
  • Lead projects requiring expert knowledge of data and business rules needed to build robust data products.
  • Drive definition, prioritization of stories and acceptance for agile teams working on the data products.
  • Present the product requirements and features through demos supported by the data analysis.
  • Position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related analyst or developer occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related analyst or developer occupation.
  • Data management or data analysis;
  • Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices;
  • Presenting product value and requirements to end users and technology teams;
  • SQL;
  • Python; and
  • Statistical tools and packages.

Additional Information

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Visa will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable local law, including the requirements of Article 49 of the San Francisco Police Code.                      

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $188,885.00 USD to $208,885.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.
