Job Description

Visa Direct is helping transform global money movement, making it possible for fast and secure payments to travel across the world. Our global network enables companies to send or receive money to billions of endpoints in 190+ markets and 160 currencies using various payment options such as ACH, credit and debit cards, and digital wallets.

The Change Manager guides change owners and product managers through established change management processes to effectively assess impacts of changes occurring across the business, collaborate with regions and cross-functional stakeholders to address impacts, create effective readiness plans, and execute communication & readiness activities to drive adoption of new product capabilities, network changes, policies, etc., that support Visa Direct’s product roadmap and strategy to deliver revenue opportunities. The Change Manager is critical to identifying and escalating risks to business readiness.

The Change Manager focuses on the people side of change, including business processes, systems and technologies. The Change Manager collaborates with change owners and various partners embedded within sales, solutions and servicing teams to ensure change processes are followed and key controls are met to drive successful implementations. The Change Manager also develops and executes communications to inform internal staff of what they need to know about upcoming changes. The Change Manager also executes governance reviews to ensure all readiness criteria have been met prior to production deployment, as well as documenting all necessary change details to ensure accurate and complete reporting of the change management program to the organization and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with change owners, product managers, process SMEs, and other stakeholders to assess changes by reviewing current state against proposed future state product features and processes

  • Verify Change Management and Visa business processes and controls are met and documented

  • Ensure readiness plans are developed, socialized and executed

  • Escalate all potential risks prior to change implementation to drive successful delivery

  • Participate in program calls for strategic changes, providing Change Management expertise and consultation

  • Document change details and verify completeness and accuracy of change information in SharePoint ticketing system. Review reporting and highlight discrepancies and gaps with management team.

  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics partner to improve ticket management and reporting

  • Review and update change management plans with stakeholders

  • Create and deliver monthly communications to inform staff of change details and assets. Partner with Product Readiness team and change owners to ensure accuracy in information.

  • Verify dashboard reporting provides clear details to inform organization of the change pipeline.

  • Prepare and maintain informational packs for strategic changes for internal review and planning discussions. Collaborate with Learning & Development for communications and training development support.

  • Track, monitor and support usage and adoption of change management activities.

  • Lead discussions with internal leaders to support change management activities.

  • Continuously assess change processes to improve effectiveness.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Fluency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint applications
• Strong understanding of change management principles and experience with implementing change processes and best practices to successfully guide people through change
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, to audiences of varying seniority
• Familiarity of payment systems (card networks, ACH, RTP, SWIFT, digital wallets)
• Experience in product management, delivery and launch lifecycles
• Ability to quickly learn about the internal Visa systems and how it all works together
• Detail oriented and highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts across multiple functional groups
• Organized, with a natural inclination for both strategic and tactical planning and turn strategy into tangible deliverables.
• Good business insight and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,800 to $200,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
