Watercolor Teacher (Contract)

Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge is Charlottesville’s only Type A Lifecare community. We’re a not-for-profit organization, which means our focus is on improving the lives of those who live here, not on creating profit for investors. We’re passionate about bringing excellence to every aspect of our senior retirement community. We have 450+ residents and provide top-notch healthcare, dining services, and social programming.


We are looking for a beginning level water color teacher for weekly classes. This is a contracted position and the scheduling of these classes can be flexible depending on the availability of the teacher.




Responsibilities
  • Planning & implementing a well thought out class.
  • Motivate participants with words of encouragement.
  • Provide frequent modification options.
  • Being present for questions and set-up at least 10 minutes prior to class and after.
  • Keeping an attendance record of participants.
  • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner.
