ZoomInfo is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales Development that will be responsible for establishing and executing a strategy for enterprise demo conversations and opportunity creation, driving performance through data insights, and overseeing a high-performing team of sales leaders. This individual will also play a key role in influencing cross-functional collaboration and decision-making, ensuring alignment across various business functions such as Account Executive leadership, HR, marketing, and Revenue Operations. The Director of Sales Development will drive performance across all product lines—ZoomInfo Sales, Marketing, and DaaS—while maximizing ASP and driving six-figure deals.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy and process for driving enterprise-level demo conversations and opportunity creation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sales targets.
  • Utilize key data points to drive the performance of the enterprise segment, consistently assessing metrics to optimize sales strategies and tactics. Leverage performance insights to adjust processes and enhance results.

  • Manage and mentor a team of sales leaders, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level goals. Establish best practices to influence workflows and optimize performance within the team, helping to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Work closely with key business partners—including AE leadership, TA, compensation, HR, marketing, enablement, and revops—to drive outcomes, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and successful execution of sales strategies.

  • Play a critical role in influencing decisions at the organizational level, focusing on driving more six-figure deals and maximizing Average Selling Price (ASP). Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the direction of enterprise sales efforts.

  • Develop a deep understanding of all product lines, including ZoomInfo Sales, Marketing, and DaaS, ensuring that performance is maximized across the board. Champion and align product offerings with customer needs to drive growth and revenue.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or Organizational Leadership, Data Analytics, Marketing or equivalent

  • 8+ years in sales development, sales leadership, or related roles, with at least 2 years of experience managing enterprise-level sales teams.

  • Strong understanding of Go-To-Market Process

  • Strong ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve performance

  • A track record of successfully driving enterprise sales performance, with a focus on large deal size and ASP maximization.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams and influencing change at an organizational level.

  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple internal departments (e.g., HR, marketing, revops) to accomplish shared goals.

  • Deep understanding of sales development best practices

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities

This is a hybrid position, working a minimum of three days per week from one of our office locations - Waltham MA, Bethesda MD, or Vancouver WA

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.
