Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator with a background in the wine and spirits industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of import and export regulations and be proficient in using logistics software systems, including Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with import and export regulations for domestic and international shipments.
  • Utilize logistics software (SAP, Oracle, Magaya, Fishbowl, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve any logistical issues.
  • Analyze logistical data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of imports/exports - domestic and international.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with logistics software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Magaya, Fishbowl, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the wine and spirits industry or related fields such as food or product.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office setting where you will have your own working space.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

You will be reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Management and working within a team of 10-15 people.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in New Rochelle,NY.
