Athlete to Athlete is a fast-growing, venture-backed start-up based in Santa Monica that offers Athletic Mentorship and Coaching Programs for youth athletes. In our programs, student-athletes are paired with a current Division 1 College-Athlete Mentor who plays their sport and can help build their confidence, taking their game to the next level. Our mission is to build the next generation of driven, confident, and resilient student-athletes through mentorship.
About The Role
In this role, your responsibilities will focus on converting marketing leads into paying customers. This includes, but is not limited to, matching a Division 1 Mentor with new students, scheduling introductory meetings between the parents and mentors, and ensuring these calls go off without issue. Most importantly, you will be tasked with closing sales after the initial meeting concludes. Throughout the process, you will serve as a source of knowledge for clients, addressing any inquiries they may have, with the ultimate goal of a successful onboarding. You will primarily communicate with prospective customers via text messages, emails, and phone calls.
You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to most effectively coordinate efforts across the company and continuously improve our sales funnel. This is an on-site position based in Santa Monica, CA.

As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in transforming marketing leads into our valued customer base. Your day-to-day will revolve around engaging with prospective clients, matching them with the ideal mentors, and scheduling introductory meetings to kickstart their journey. You'll not only be the friendly voice on the line, but you’ll also act as a helpful source of knowledge, guiding clients through the sales process and ensuring smooth onboarding. Communication will mostly happen through texts, emails, and calls, so great interpersonal skills are a must! You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with our dynamic marketing and operations teams, helping to fine-tune our sales funnel for maximum effectiveness. If you have a knack for details, a passion for sports, and a couple of years’ experience in inside sales or a similar role, you might be the perfect fit. We’re offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 a year, and we champion equal opportunity for all candidates.
