Our Professional Services team plays a critical role in accelerating customer time-to-value by providing expert advisory services on data governance, metadata management, and best-in-class implementation strategies.
Now, we are looking for a Regional Director, Professional Services in the U.S. to lead and scale our Technical Account Managers (TAMs) while driving our Professional Services growth and impact.
As the Regional Director of Professional Services, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our TAM team in the U.S., ensuring we deliver high-value advisory services that help customers successfully implement and adopt Atlan.
In this role, you will:
✅ Lead & Scale the TAM Function
Directly manage Technical Account Managers (TAMs) across the U.S. (excluding the East Coast for now).
Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training efforts, with enablement support.
Build and refine playbooks, methodologies, and best practices for Atlan’s professional services motion.
Transition to a second-line leadership role in 2026, as we introduce first-line TAM managers.
✅ Drive Professional Services Growth & Revenue
Own Professional Services bookings and revenue goals, ensuring we hit key targets.
Drive forecasting for revenue, utilization, and headcount needs.
Work on the scoping, packaging, and pricing of services, iterating on our offerings.
✅ Ensure Adoption & Impact for Customers
Focus on adoption metrics and time to implementation as key success indicators.
Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Sales to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Act as an escalation point for strategic customers and major implementation challenges.
✅ Shape the 0-1 Professional Services Motion
Play a pivotal role in defining how Atlan’s Professional Services evolves.
Develop new initiatives, processes, and strategies to improve TAM effectiveness and drive customer success.
Lay the groundwork for future SI partnerships (H2 2025 and beyond).
🔹 Leadership Experience – Proven track record of managing and scaling Professional Services or Consulting teams.
🔹 Data Industry Expertise – Experience in data governance, metadata management, or related fields within a consulting firm or SaaS company.
🔹 Professional Services & Revenue Ownership – Direct experience driving PS revenue, utilization, and forecasting.
🔹 Strategic Thinking & Execution – Ability to build from 0-1, define strategies, and operationalize them successfully.
🔹 Cross-Functional Leadership – Comfort working closely with Sales, CS, and Product teams.
🔹 Hiring & Team Building – Experience hiring, mentoring, and structuring high-performing teams.
