We have an exciting opportunity awaiting someone like you!Job DescriptionAs a Scrum Master, Salesforce you will help coordinate and coach our cross-functional software delivery teams working on the Salesforce platform, using Lean and Agile values. We have four scrum teams in our Nexus (scaled agile model) delivering real business value for a $47 billion bank. There are 1800+ users on our Salesforce platform, which is used by our bankers primarily for Sales Enablement (prospecting, client relationships) and Loan Origination (Deals, Underwriting, Portfolio Maintenance using nCino). The person in this role will be responsible for 1-3 scrum teams in our Nexus, to ensure clear communication, organization and health of the teams to achieve sprint goals and valuable business outcomes.Team CultureOur mission is to empower our company, teammates and customers through the delivery of resilient and customer-centric technology. We are committed to creating a diverse and sustainable environment where team members can be curious and grow their careers, all while delivering fabulous business outcomes.How You'll Spend Your Time• Scrum Team Facilitation (75%)o Work “arm-in-arm” with scrum teams you are responsible for and Product Owners to align on roadmap and deliveryo Work closely with a co-scrum master to coordinate work and teams across the Nexuso Enables Scrum as a software development framework for IT delivery teamso Facilitates all Scrum events and ceremonies including Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and Daily Stand-upso Works cross functionally to align strategy, methodology and executiono Work across teams in our Nexus (scaled agile model), and teams across the bank to plan and deliver sprint itemso Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountability for key roleso Guides the team in the setting of realistic objectives for Feature and Sprint delivery timeframes and continually manages expectations with team and stakeholderso Coaches the team to learn, improve and to work as a self-organizing teamo Facilitates team health, effectiveness and efficiency by removing impediments, mediating through conflicts, helping teams to make decisions and adhering to continuous improvement principleso Proactively identifies risks to the attainment of Feature and Sprint goals and engages the team in mitigating riskso Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally in support of team objectiveso Fosters speed, innovation and encourages continuous learning and feedbacko Tracks and monitors team’s progress towards Roadmap and Sprint objectives via Scrum metric reports (e.g., Burndown and Velocity charts; Delivery Trends) and delivers input to status reports as requiredo Maximize use of agile tooling to provide transparency and meaningful metricso Provides input to help identify and form future Scrum teams• Developing Self and Others (25%)o Actively contributes to the Company’s expanding Agile Community acting as a change agent by supporting others in their Agile journeyo Continuously broadens capabilities to effectively apply agile techniqueso Demonstrates continuous learning and improvement; encourages other team members to do the sameo Contribute to a vibrant and healthy team culture, where team members can be curious and grow their careers• May perform other duties as assignedEducation & Experience RequirementsThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline. Achieved Certified Scrum Master Certification (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM), Nexus Scrum Master, or equivalent combination of education and experience.SKILLS:• 2 to 4 years’ experience with broad range of technical and business environments• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile Scrum teams• Experience with Agile Toolsets (Atlassian tool suite, specifically JIRA and Confluence)• Operating in an environment that requires cross team/department collaboration• Adequate knowledge of project management methodologies with demonstrated experience coordinating team work flow in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment• Working knowledge of software development life cycles• Established ability to understand business needs and create a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control• Established ability to utilize sound business judgement and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes• Established ability to influence change within an organization• Self-motivation, discipline, task focus, and a proven record of delivering high quality results within deadlines• Intellectual curiosity; problem-solving abilities and attention to detail; and prompt follow-through• Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze problems that include interrelationships and dependencies in order to identify solutions• Good oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization from Scrum team members to executives• Moderate leadership skills and experience effectively collaborating with highly technical teamsWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsOfficeBOK Financial Corporation Group is a stable and financially strong organization that provides excellent training and development to support building the long term careers of employees.
