Clio is more than just a tech company–we are a global leader that is transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.
We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Courts team at Clio. The Courts space represents a foundational component of legal work, and is central to Clio’s mission of transforming the legal experience for all. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Clio’s most strategically significant product areas—bringing modern, accessible, and scalable technology to historically underserved court-related workflows.
Interacting with the courts is a mission-critical part of legal practice. This includes managing court deadlines, tracking case progress, eFiling documents, and exchanging time-sensitive communications. Our Courts team is responsible for building and maintaining products that streamline these workflows for legal professionals.
This space offers both significant impact for our customers and strong growth potential for Clio. We are investing heavily in making this a competitive advantage, and your contributions will help shape the future of our offerings, which currently include Clio File and Court Rules—and will expand further in the years ahead.
Product Leadership:
As a Product Manager working with your design and engineering triad, you’ll drive the delivery of customer and business outcomes within the Courts domain. Reporting to the Group Product Manager for Courts, you’ll take ownership of feature areas and roadmap initiatives, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
Strategy and Prioritization:
You will translate high-level strategic goals into an actionable product roadmap. This includes performing user research, competitive analysis, and working with stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities. You’ll build clear business cases and adapt quickly as new data and feedback emerge.
Customer & Market Understanding:
You will develop deep empathy for our customers and an expert understanding of the court-related workflows they navigate. This includes working closely with legal professionals and internal subject matter experts, and supplementing qualitative insights with data analysis to validate and shape product direction.
Product Delivery:
You’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from concept to launch to iteration. This includes writing detailed product requirements, partnering with design and engineering on solutioning, and driving delivery through execution. You’ll balance delivering customer value with technical feasibility and business constraints.
Growth & Adoption:
You’ll support go-to-market and customer enablement efforts in partnership with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales. You’ll help define success metrics, track adoption, and iterate based on performance and feedback.
2–4 years of experience in product management with a demonstrated ability to ship and iterate on software products.
Proven ability to translate customer pain points into clear product solutions.
A bias for action and the ability to break down complex objectives into scalable and measurable initiatives.
Comfort operating with high ambiguity and evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and support to drive outcomes.
Solid communication skills; able to build strong stakeholder relationships and drive alignment across teams.
A data-informed mindset: you seek out and use both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
Comfort working in a technical domain and ability to quickly ramp up on new subject matter.
Familiarity with how to leverage modern AI tools, including large language models (LLMs), to improve personal productivity, accelerate research and analysis, and support product discovery and planning.
Experience working in legal tech or with legal professionals (e.g., lawyers, court clerks, law firm staff).
Familiarity with court-centric workflows such as eFiling, calendaring, or document service.
Exposure to judicial or case management systems.
Experience contributing to vertical SaaS products.
An understanding of regulatory or compliance-heavy domains.
Demonstrated examples of using AI or automation in your product practice—for example, to analyze customer feedback, streamline documentation, generate test cases, or evaluate competitive products.
