Job Details:
Required Certification: NACE Inspector and/or SSPC NBPI required.
Required Experience: 3 years minimum NAVSEA support experience with submarine preservation

In this role, you'll be responsible for producing both electronic and handwritten Quality Assurance documentation, serving as Objective Quality Evidence for activities during the preservation process. Your expertise will shine as you develop and maintain Test and Inspection Plans for various projects. Monitoring and documenting crucial readings — from metal anchor profiles to paint thickness and environmental conditions — will be part of your daily tasks. Equipped with instruments like micrometers and dry film thickness gauges, you’ll ensure that everything adheres to the requisite standards. It’s crucial to keep all your equipment in excellent working condition, sticking to calibration certification intervals, of course! Safety is paramount at CTS, so your work will always emphasize safe practices, ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues. To excel in this position, you’ll need a NACE Inspector and/or SSPC NBPI certification, alongside three years of NAVSEA support experience focused on submarine preservation.
