About the role:
We’re looking for a dynamic HR professional with experience in international organisations for a maternity cover from July 2025 to January 2026.
In the role of HR Business Partner to our Sales, Marketing, Innovation (SMI) central team, you will work closely with the SMI Management team to support with delivery of business plans. You will provide support and guidance to teams advising on people topics. You will implement the HR Corporate Plan and Strategic Priorities across areas of responsibility and work closely with Centres of Excellence to achieve this.
Your remit with include but not limited to:
HR Business Partnering
Provide leadership on change management, communication and engagement.
Communicate key processes and changes to functional senior leaders.
Offer value-added HR advice and leadership coaching on business-specific needs.
Provide guidance and support on performance issues.
Support and advise in their Organisation Development activities.
Ensure operational HR activities in employee lifecycle are running smoothly, including talent management, reward, talent acquisition.
Implement the HR Corporate Plan and Strategic Priorities.
Develop People Plans with SMI management team and manage the delivery of HR initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all key HR policies and processes.
Collaboration and Leadership
Collaborate with Centres of Expertise as required.
Work closely with International Workforce team as well as Country HR Managers to ensure the smooth running of operations and assignments.
Provide mentoring and coaching, establishing development goals and builds talent pipeline.
Keeps abreast of changes in HR legislation.
About you
Fluency in English (French or Dutch are a plus)
Good knowledge of labour legislation in Belgium/ UK
A practical and pragmatic problem solver with an innate ability to think strategically, driving and facilitating a culture of collaboration
Strong commercial acumen
Ability to establish professional credibility and influence at all levels
Pro-active and resilient problem solver
Willingness to Challenge
Transformation and cultural change experience within a global, matrix environment.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
University degree or Equivalent
In-depth generalist experience with good knowledge of operational HR processes
Experience in leading and implementing HR change processes (Organisation Design and Selection, HR Information Systems implementation, reorganisation)
Experience in HR Management/BP roles in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Location: Belgium or the UK (Brussels/London - hybrid)
