About the opportunity:Our Shutterstock People Team is seeking a skilled HR Business Partner for a 3-month contract position in NYC to provide comprehensive support on a short-term basis for our Enterprise Organization. The Shutterstock People Team focuses on attracting, developing and retaining top talent while cultivating a culture where everyone can reach their greatest potential! We work together to create and guide an outstanding employee experience where people are motivated and inspired to do their best work.You’ll work alongside our Global HR Business Partners and collaborate with business leaders to understand their broader strategic objectives and determine relevant talent management strategies that drive performance, promote the culture and make Shutterstock a great place to work!To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. You must be courageous enough to provide regular feedback, insights and push back and suggest alternative solutions.The day to day:• Work with the Global HR Business Partners to own the people strategy for specific client groups while maintaining an understanding of the client’s strategic people goals and key initiatives• Develop effective relationships with leaders and employees to provide coaching and influence people matters• Collaborate with the HR Business Partners & leaders to design organizational structures, job roles and talent management processes to drive organizational strategy• Responsible for consulting and executing on key org & change management strategies such as organizational design, workforce planning and talent strategies• Collaborate with our Global People Team to execute programs, processes and standardization that allows for a seamless employee experience• Help oversee the annual processes including budget planning, calibration, year end conversations, compensation planning, goal setting and quarterly check-ins• Analyze a broad range of HR data to generate insights and proactively convert these insights into recommendations for leaders• A solutions focused-approach. Be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions• Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment• Additionally, the individual in this role is accountable for partnering with leadership to teach, coach, and cultivate the Shutterstock culture by ensuring the Leadership Principles are taught, lived, and integrated in each component of the talent system at Shutterstock• This role requires 3 days in our office in the Empire State BuildingWhat you’ll bring to the role:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience• 6+ years of experience in an HRBP role• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders• Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders• Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as needs change• Desire to take on new and unfamiliar tasks and assignments• Proficiency in Google Suite specifically Google Sheets and Google Slides• Experience with Workday• Proven track record of handling large data sets with the ability to analyze and provide insightsWhy Shutterstock:• You have a direct impact on the success of the company.
