Our team members are spread across various countries, managing multiple initiatives to deliver features that touch the everyday lives of millions of customers across Southeast Asia through Grab. Get to Know the Role 

As a Technical Program Manager, you will manage a portfolio of complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish, primarily focusing on how Grab serves businesses across SEA. Working closely with stakeholders, you will plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners. Reporting to the Senior Technical Program Management Leader and working onsite at Grab HCMC office, you will bridge various Engineering and business teams, working with people from all parts of Grab to deliver impactful features.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will manage project timelines, define milestones, track and report progress, identify risks, and resolve impediments to ensure project success.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and QA to deliver programs successfully.
  • You will serve as the primary interface for complex programs that span multiple engineering organizations, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • You will coach teams on various delivery frameworks and methodologies best suited to their execution needs, promoting continuous improvement.
  • You will drive roadmap planning and prioritization processes, ensuring strategic alignment and efficient resource utilization.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • At least 5+ years of experience managing Agile software projects with proven delivery and technical leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Solid technical background in software development, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Experience with risk management — anticipating, mitigating, and resolving project risks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
