ABOUT THE TEAM:

GridUnity's Ops team thrives in a dynamic environment where innovation, collaboration, and creativity drive success. As we scale, we are looking for an Operations Manager to streamline business processes, optimize systems and tooling, and contribute to financial analysis to enhance decision-making.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Operations Manager will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, designing scalable business processes, and leveraging SaaS tools to optimize workflows. Additionally, this role will support financial modeling and analysis, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Process Optimization

  • Analyze, design, and implement scalable and efficient business processes across departments.

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in workflows, then propose and execute improvements.

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational consistency.

Systems & Tooling

  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize SaaS tools and internal systems to support company growth.

  • Ensure seamless integration between various business platforms (Collaboration tools, CRM, time tracking systems, financial tools)

  • Train and support teams in adopting new technologies to enhance productivity.

Financial Analysis

  • Support the development of financial models to improve forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

  • Work closely with finance and leadership to analyze costs, revenue streams, and unit economics.

  • Identify data-driven opportunities to improve margins and efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance, product, sales, customer success, and engineering teams to align operational strategies with business objectives.

  • Act as a bridge across departments, ensuring smooth execution of process improvements.

  • Drive change management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and workflows.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, finance, or business strategy (startup or tech industry experience preferred).

  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.

  • Proven track record of optimizing business process and systematizing data for a scaling business

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills
