CE, short for Customer Engagement, is an omni-channel call center product that can be used to provide faster, smarter customer service. By combining an omni-channel contact center with CRM in a single, configurable, AI-powered agent desktop, support staff are empowered to deliver rapid customer service. CE makes it possible to bring together disparate sources of customer data from multiple systems, alongside all contact channels. This enables agents to deliver seamless customer engagement.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Specialist who is looking to be part of a diverse and highly skilled team utilizing leading edge technologies.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on mission critical high-performance components and to gain experience of many leading-edge technologies.

A product specialist at IFS designs, maintains and supports functionality included in IFS products. The work is focused on interpreting and analyzing business requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Business value, usability and solution consistency are key aspects of this work.

Someone in this role uses their functional industry know-how to design and maintain the products in a way that ensures product sustainability throughout the product’s lifecycle. A product specialist at IFS demonstrates a strong commitment to the product quality and takes proactive action to prevent issues from arising and resolve them quickly and effective when they still do occur. To participate in design reviews and to apply sound and established UX design practices and principles is part of the day-to-day work. So is defining and using design patterns, quality metrics, test cases and best practices. A product specialist at IFS also continuously expands their business process domain as well as technical knowledge and shares this knowledge to guide others.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Functional and technical design of CE system based on business requirements and strategic direction
• Involvement in quality assurance activities such as manual and automated testing, review and maintenance of existing solutions
• Create documentation, presentation and training material
• Participate in peer design and UX reviews
• Share knowledge, guide and train colleagues
• Be an active member of the team
• Contribute to improvements in IFS products, services and processes

Overall Required Competence

To be a successful Senior Product Specialist at IFS your mindset will be the key factor, but we would prefer you to have a relevant academic degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) preferably in software engineering.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide evidence of many of the following qualities and characteristics:

• Proven work experience in software design or development
• The ability to efficiently engage with requirement owners and other stakeholders while contributing to activities related to product/solution management. 
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills along with the ability of applying expertise & technology to achieve work objectives. 
• Knowledge of SQL or a scripting language
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process will be an added advantage as would experience in technical design and programming skills
• Knowledge of automated testing strategies and tools
