Primary Function of Position

The System Coordinator manages the coordination, maintenance and overall management of the Commercial Enablement da Vinci system platforms, Instruments & Accessories and Advanced Technologies. Responsible for system movement including shipping/crating, system set-up and take-down, system troubleshooting, and overall system logistics to ensure high quality delivery of all CE programs and events.

Essential Job Duties

• System movement and set-up
• Place orders for I&A
• Receive and organize I&A, keeping logs of inventory of systems and I&A
• Maintain organization and status log of all Commercial Learning system and I&A assets. i.e. location status, system repairs/tickets, inventory levels for I&A.
• Manage system shipments and loaners

Required Skills and Experience 

• Intuitive technical expert across all system platforms.
• Independently manage all administrative duties of role which include but are not limited to; Inventory management, I&A purchases, system location tracker.
• Independently manage system shipments including crating systems
• Ability to identify, make recommendations, and or provide feedback to Product Support and Trainers on I&A, simulators, and systems
• Manage upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting of all da Vinci Systems, simulators and I&A
• Oversee building Demo Rooms of Intuitive Systems and I&A
• System Troubleshooting capabilities
• Independently manage system shipments

Required Education and Training 

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Intuitive technical expert across all system platforms.
• Advanced level troubleshooting capabilities

Working Conditions 

• Ability to walk 3 miles per day
• Ability to push 100lbs

Preferred Skills and Experience 

• Strong communication skills
• Coordination and logistical experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of surgical/laboratory terminology, equipment, materials and procedures as well as the fundamental laboratory methods relating to surgery
• Must have flexible hours and the ability to work over time if necessary
• Must have a reliable cell phone device to be reached and quick to respond
• An ability to travel up to 20%, dependent upon projects
