Role Overview :

Are you passionate about creating user-centric designs that drive growth and engagement? As a Senior Growth Product Designer at Jimdo, you will leverage your design expertise and data-driven insights to enhance user acquisition, retention, and conversion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that integrate advanced strategies from Product-Led Growth (PLG), buyer personas, journey mapping, pricing and packaging, and cognitive science. You'll play a key role in optimizing user journeys and maximizing user engagement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Interpret data to inform design decisions and improve the user funnel.

  • Design experiments and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses and iterate on designs based on evidence.

  • Create detailed journey maps to visualize user interactions and identify key touchpoints and opportunities for optimization.

  • Conduct in-depth user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations, driving design choices.

  • Develop and use detailed buyer personas to tailor design solutions that meet the specific needs and motivations of different user segments.

  • Create functional prototypes to test ideas and gather user feedback rapidly.

  • Work closely with marketing, engineering, and data analytics teams to align on growth objectives and integrate design solutions effectively.

  • Collaborate with pricing and packaging teams to design models that maximize user engagement and conversion rates.

  • Participate in ideating Jimdo’s PLG model toward customer acquisition, activation, and onboarding leading to business sustainability.

What you bring to the table:

  • 4+ years in product design with a focus on Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies.

  • Strong analytical mindset—comfortable interpreting data and running A/B tests to drive decisions.

  • Ability to apply behavioral and growth design theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies.

  • Deep level of understanding of Figma and Design Systems.

  • Deep experience with user research, journey mapping, and persona development.

  • Ability to create rapid prototypes and iterate designs based on user feedback.

  • Commercial awareness - understanding how design impacts business metrics.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally.

  • A deep understanding of user engagement strategies and cognitive science principles to design intuitive interfaces.

  • Previous experience in growth teams or in web analytics, working in PLG mechanisms such as pricing, packaging, upselling, dashboards, or onboarding funnels.
