Senior Director of Operations Excellence

Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Operations Excellence to lead our initiatives aimed at driving efficiency and optimization across our operational functions. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance operational performance and elevate overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to assess the efficacy of operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and problem-solving at all levels.
  • Conduct operational reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Provide training and coaching to operational teams to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Engage with senior leadership to communicate progress on operational initiatives and impacts on business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, with significant experience in operational excellence roles.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency in complex organizations.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and engage others.
  • Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with operational excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques.
