Assistant Director of Sale

Marvin Love and Associates, a leading player in the hospitality sector, is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Hotel Assistant Director of Sales. This role is essential for driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability for our properties. Location: Alabama - Property Confidential, and will be provided to qualified individuals

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing the hotel's sales plan, focusing on growing market share and revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through proactive outreach and effective communication.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitive strategies to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to clients.
  • Support the development of marketing and promotional strategies to enhance visibility and bookings.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients and assist in event planning when necessary.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to the Director of Sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales and hospitality software applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
