Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manager Business Planning 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois and will support the Electronic Warfare and Targeting business unit. This is an onsite position.
The Manager of Business Planning 3 will partner closely with the Business Unit Vice President, as well as the extended leadership team, to manage the operational aspects of the business unit.
The Manager of Business Planning will be responsible for:
Supporting the Business Unit Vice President in all day-to-day activities of business unit operations and objectives, including but not limited to monthly reporting, business unit reviews, site visits, staff meetings, team meetings & strategy sessions
Leads the business unit Future of Work and Employee Engagement planning activities
Preparation and coordination of charts and briefings for Business Unit and Division Reviews; delivering presentations to executive management and other stakeholders
Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
Assist in the development of the annual operating plan
Leads involvement in engagement survey action planning, business growth objectives, affordability & digital transformation initiatives
Drives collaboration and coordination with all functional organizations across the Business Unit
Strategic Responsibility Influences & impacts strategy through his/her role leading Business Unit NCTA and Capital Project financial reporting utilizing the RDIS/SIMPL on-line tools
Advisor to lower-level managers and exempt employees.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience or Master’s Degree and 6+ years’ experience in project management role and or other financial reporting experience
Demonstrated ability to learn and master complex computer applications to include on-line tools and knowledge managing NCTA and Capital projects
Strong skills with MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Approach work with a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Experience with or mastery of any of the following computer applications: Salesforce, SharePoint, RDIS/SIMPL, Tableau
Experience and working understanding of financial records and reports
Experience conducting meetings at an Executive Leadership level
