Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Program Manager 1 to join our E-2D Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) of qualified, diverse individuals on our Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) Business Unit.
This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
This position will support the E-2D Production program. This E-2D Program Manager has the responsibility of supporting the IPT Lead with managing the cost, schedule, and performance of E-2D Production program contracts, focusing initially on obsolescence NRE contracts and production tooling disposition with growth to other programs in the future. This position is responsible for all aspects of design, baselining, development, production, and delivery related to the specific programs associated with the current Production contract line items.
Key responsibilities will include ownership of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and ensuring all contractual technical requirements are met. The PM assesses project and program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals. The PM develops metrics for monitoring the health of project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Senior IPT Leadership, Sub IPT Leads and the Functional Homerooms.
The successful candidate must have a record of achieving successful outcomes by leading diverse technical teams, navigating internal processes, communicating with customers, creating a work environment that engages our employees, managing suppliers, bringing clarity and clear direction to ambiguous situations, excelling in the fundamentals of program management and perceptive use of predictive metrics.
