The Field Marketing Coordinator is part of a dynamic marketing team that delivers innovative event experiences to support growth efforts. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with the planning and execution of tradeshows, organizing the annual customer conference, and supporting integrated marketing campaigns. The position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event marketing with a rapidly expanding govtech company.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning tradeshows across the U.S., including managing logistics, coordinating vendors, and ensuring compliance with brand standards under manager guidance.
Support the organization of the annual customer conference, including promotion, registration, customer and vendor communication, and on-site logistics.
Maintain event calendars, timelines, and checklists to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop event collateral and promotional materials to drive attendance and engagement.
Participate in pre-event meetings to review logistics and messaging with on-site staff.
Work with the marketing operations team to support data collection from events, including importing lead data into marketing automation software and CRM systems.
Assist in gathering feedback and tracking event performance metrics, providing basic observations and recommendations for future events.
Travel occasionally to event locations as needed to support onsite execution and represent OpenGov professionally.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting trade shows, events, or internships in event marketing.
Self-motivated and able to adapt to a dynamic work environment while following established guidelines.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Marketo & Salesforce is a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed to support event activities.
