Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Program Manager to join our growing team! In this role you will get to manage a program to provide Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) to USCYBERCOM Acquisition and Technology Directorate.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
  • Develops budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of all projects and the larger program.
  • Executes project plans, including providing and overseeing assignments to key subordinates; Manages and monitors performance using Project Management principles.
  • Devises and executes actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of any such changes.
  • Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
  • Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
  • Collaborates with Business Development to market and secure additional work with client.
  • Conducts performance reviews and creates and executes development plans for subordinates.
  • Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
  • Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
  • Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Top Secret / SCI with CI Poly
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field
  • 15+ years related work experience
  • Previous project management experience on similar or related projects and
  • Broad general technical and business background
  • Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements
  • Advanced leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on project
