Appointment Setter - job 1 of 4

Our client, a growing organization in the professional services space, is seeking a highly motivated Appointment Setter to support their business development efforts. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in lead qualification and scheduling appointments. Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calling & Lead Qualification – Dial contacts from provided lists, validate information, and qualify potential leads based on set criteria.

  • Contact Research – Visit company websites to identify key decision-makers and gather accurate contact information.

  • Appointment Scheduling – Book qualified appointments with prospects and ensure all details are properly documented.

  • Proposal Review & RFP Support – Assist in reviewing proposals in response to RFPs, ensuring alignment with client needs and submission best practices.

  • CRM Management – Utilize HubSpot to track leads, update contact details, and manage follow-ups.

  • Follow-Up & Lead Nurturing – Maintain consistent follow-up efforts via phone, email, and LinkedIn to engage and convert leads.

  • Email Copywriting – Use AI tools like ChatGPT to craft targeted cold email campaigns tailored to educators and school decision-makers.

  • Data Accuracy – Ensure all lead details, validation, and status updates are accurately entered into the CRM.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or outbound sales, preferably in selling to school districts, afterschool programs, or educational organizations.

Outbound Calling Proficiency

  • Comfortable making high-volume calls and engaging decision-makers.

Fluent English

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective prospect engagement. (Spanish fluency is highly preferred but not required.)

Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented

  • Experience using HubSpot or other CRM systems for lead tracking and pipeline management.

Research Skills

  • Ability to find and validate contact information from company websites.

Resilient & Self-Motivated

  • Strong ability to handle rejection, stay persistent, and continuously improve performance.
