POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day activities of the marketing team within the University of Richmond Department of Athletics which include the coordination and execution of marketing and promotional plans for football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s lacrosse and select other events.

Salary Grade 1: $15.00 per hour
Scheduled hours: 20 hours per week. Nights and weekends are required. Requires working game days.

In this role, you'll be diving headfirst into the vibrant world of college sports, assisting with the execution of marketing and promotional plans for various athletic events, including football, basketball, and lacrosse. Under the guidance of our skilled full-time marketing staff, you will serve as a field producer and manage live game elements, ensuring that everything runs smoothly on game days. Your creativity will shine as you design marketing materials to draw in fans and students, while also brainstorming exciting gameday themes and promotions. You’ll be instrumental in enhancing the overall experience for our audiences by coordinating national anthem performances, halftime entertainment, and producing engaging activities within the Family Fun Zone. Not only will you take part in the excitement of game days, but you’ll also represent the Spider Kids Club at community events, working to build memberships and foster a love for sports among families. This position requires excellent communication skills, a knack for organization, and familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop.
