We're building the #1 training platform for Runners

We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching, and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date, we have built iOS, Android, and Apple Watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favorite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex, and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year, reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built. Our aim is to reach millions of subscribers in the next 5 years and be the go-to training platform for any runner. Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic & Digital Designer to join our marketing team. You'll work directly with Charlotte (Social Content Lead) and the rest of the team to reach the next wave of Runnas. You will be responsible for designing, creating, and editing motion graphics and static designs for our social media platforms and levelling up how our brand shows up on socials.

As Graphic & Digital Designer, your role will include:
  • Motion graphic design – Creating engaging motion graphics with a focus on text animation for social media content.
  • Static design – Designing static graphics for social media content, event promotions, and more.
  • Supporting with graphics for events – Designing graphics for branding initiatives, merchandise, event materials, and more (vans, billboards, etc.).
What experience we’re looking forYour key skills:
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools (bonus points if you have experience in Figma)
  • Proficiency in motion graphics software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
  • A deep passion for social media and an understanding of the ever-changing landscape of digital content.
  • Ability to create engaging social media content with strong visual storytelling.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating ability to follow brand and campaign guidelines.
  • Creative, innovative mindset with an eye for engaging campaigns.
  • Strategic thinker with strong verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Passionate about self-development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and digital aesthetics.
  • Enthusiasm for running and inspiring more people to be active.
Your experience:
  • 1.5+ years within a graphic design / motion graphics role OR bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent (bonus points if you have both!)
  • Previous experience working with social media content creation, motion graphics, or video editing.
Interview process

We aim to keep the interview process as simple and enjoyable as possible, and it consists of the following stages:

  • Kick-off! – Apply with your portfolio below! 🎨
  • Introductory chat – 25-minute video call with Emily
  • Take-home task and review – 30-minute video call with Charlotte (Social Content Lead) and Hayden (Senior Graphic & Brand Designer)
  • Office visit – In-person chat with founder(s) and the rest of the team
  • Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible.

    Benefits and options

    Salary: $64,000-$70,000(depending on experience) + equity in the form of Runna stock options.

    • Flexible working (we typically work 2-3 days in our office in Harvard Square)
