We are a team of experienced educators who train and support schools, districts, and states to help all students meet college and career ready standards. Working in partnership with local educators, we help improve instruction and leadership through content and curriculum-specific training. Together, we build schools and systems that help all students succeed. We train teachers and leaders on standards-aligned instructional practices in literacy and math and specialize in professional learning using high-quality, openly available curricula. THE ROLE

SchoolKit is seeking Operations Support contractors to support our Operations Team with various workstreams, primarily related to our systems for project management, finance, and billing, as well as our systems for travel logistics. This is a remote 1099 contractor role with variable hours depending on availability. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: 

  1. Onsite and Remote Project Logistics Management: Develop logistical plans for on-site trainings and travel to project sites to provide on-site logistics support for facilitators and other SchoolKit team members.
  2. Project Systems Development and Communications: Developing and maintaining registration systems for assigned projects, managing project communications and data, etc. 
  3. Billing Documentation: Service tracking and documentation collection for contract billing
  4. Data Entry: Updating multiple spreadsheets, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date
  5. Virtual Tech Support: Providing virtual support (e.g., Zoom, Canvas) on projects.
  6. Canvas Development: Construct courses in the Canvas LMS, using SchoolKit-developed content (Prior experience using Canvas required)
  7. Google Classroom Development: Construct courses in Google Classroom, using SchoolKit-developed content (Prior experience using Google Classroom required)


An ideal applicant is highly organized, detail-oriented, and highly proficient in the following software/systems:

Google Suite

  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Excel, beginning to intermediate proficiency
  • Asana or Monday project management software


Experience with the following systems is a plus:

  • Formstack or similar form-building software
  • Canvas
  • Travel management software (e.g. Egencia, Navan)
  • Google Classroom


For Billing Documentation, Data Entry, Virtual Tech Support, Canvas or Google Classroom Development: The ideal applicant has a proven ability to organize, prioritize, track, and manage workflow from multiple streams concurrently and have 3 + years work experience in an operational, financial, or data role. Prior experience working in high-paced, high-growth organizations preferred.


For Onsite and Remote Project Logistics Management and Project Systems Development and Communications: The ideal candidate has experience working in education-focused organizations. They have experience managing mid-to-large-scale complex projects and providing on-site logistics support. They have a proven ability to organize, prioritize, track, and manage workflow from multiple projects concurrently and have 5+ years of work experience in a program or project management role.


This position is offered at $50 - 75/hour.
