What You Will Do:

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant that will be responsible for accounting operations for our organization. Their duties will include but not limited to preparing reconciliations, performing month end close procedures, recording journal entries including payroll and accrued expenses, and managing the travel and expense platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare inter-company reconciliations for international entities.
  • Manage employee T&E submission process using Brex 
  • Manage Fixed Asset processes.
  • Reconcile and post journal entries related to payroll and bonus compensation.
  • Provide support and backup for Accounts Payable, including coding vendor invoices in the Coupa AP management system.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Assist with year-end financial statement audit and internal control documentation.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in General Accounting
  • 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or Travel and Expense Management
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Coupa, and Brex is preferred.

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Self-Starter and have the ability to challenge the status quo
  • CPA or working towards a CPA certification is a plus

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
